50ml will cover at least 2 average vehicles. 
 
Load up applicator and apply in overlapping lines or cross hatch if you prefer. 
Use 3 microfibres.  One for the initial surplus grab, the second to buff to a fine finish and the third cloth to make absolutely sure there is no smears left behind.  If you are chasing a smear, just keep buffing the same area until it goes completely clear.
 
For the bonnet, either do one of 3 things. (especially when working a soft black paint)
 
Roll up your sleeves, apply to bonnet entirety then start removal process.  Although it is grabby, there is plenty active work time for you to completely remove the ceramic. 
 
Break the bonnet into sections according to it's design, this will work better on some cars than others.  
 
If you have to join the coating, start applying the coating from either side of the bonnet rather than from the middle, this will give you less chance of seeing a join under natural light.   If you are methodical with your process you won't get a join.   If you do get a slight join, it will remove itself over the next week or two.  
 
The beauty of this coating is it's so heavy duty that once you lay it down you only need 3 hours cure time.  You will feel the reassuring slickness of a treated panel and a non treated panel.
 
You don't need to worry about humidity with Ballistic.
